The Center for Persian Studies at the Faculty of Philology is the authorized representative of Sa’adi Foundation in Europe to hold the AMFA test regularly throughout the year.
About AMFA
Persian Language Proficiency Test (PLPT), or internationally known as AMFA, is the official Persian language proficiency test developed by Sa’di Foundation and is regulated officially in Iran. It offers successful candidates an internationally recognized certificate known as the “International Persian Proficiency Certificate”.
AMFA Test evaluates Persian proficiency in four main skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) regardless of the learner’s educational background.
AMFA test uses a seven-band scale to assess your Persian language proficiency in four key skills. Scores range from Band Score 0.8 or 15 (Novice) to Band Score 7 or 180 (expert).

The applicants will receive the certificate from the Sa’adi Foundation in Iran which is the only valid and official certificate of Persian Proficiency.
Applicants and students from all over the world, especially in Europe and the US, who need to get the official certificate for Persian language proficiency are invited to apply for the AMFA test and take the exam/certificate in Belgrade, Serbia.
AMFA Key Features
